Here are some quick overviews of a few safety precautions for all of us to take notice of:  

Safety Reminders 

  1. Lock your doors and windows.
  2. Don't leave unlock cars in the driveway.
  3. Activate security cameras and alarm systems when appropriated.
  4. Suspicious Activity
  1. Homeowners should not open their doors to anyone who they are not expecting.
  2. Homeowners can contact the Oakbrook Police by dialing 911 at any time to report suspicious activity including a person coming to your door that do not have a solicitor's permit. 
  1. Drive Carefully
  1. The Speed Limit within Trinity Lakes is 25 mph
  2. With no sidewalks within the development, speeding motorists pose a serious threat to children who are riding their bikes or playing outdoors or even walkers. 
  1. Observe the Yield Sign 
  1. Please observe the entrance yield sign - watch out for cars, pedestrians, and bicyclists.

Rules & Regulations
Contractor Working Hours- (Contractors are allowed to work weekdays from 7am-dusk and Saturdays from 8am-2pm.). 

  1. NO contractors are allowed to work on Sundays. - This includes but are not limited to, general construction activities and lawn maintenance. 
  2. Services such as snow plowing, snow removal, emergency repairs to your home (are excluded)  
  3. Contractor trucks, trailers and all other equipment or materials must be removed from streets each evening. 

Garbage

  1. Garbage containers, recycle bins and/or seasonal tree and bush trimmings should be placed outside for collection No earlier than 6pm the night before collection day. 
  2. Empty containers are to be removed from the curb by the end of the collection day. 
  3. Garbage containers should be stored, out of sight, inside the garage.  

Unsightly and Unkempt Property 

  1. It is the responsibility of each homeowner to take care of their property to prevent it from becoming unsightly and unkempt. 

Lawns Maintenance

  1. Lawns must be regularly(weekly) maintained and must be reasonably free of weeds. 
  2. Trees and bushes must be trimmed of dead branches. 
  3. Property must be regularly cleared of trash and debris.
