Homeowner Reminders
Here are some quick overviews of a few of the HOA Rules and Regulations - The complete Rules & Regulations are available on the documents page of this website.

Safety Reminders
- Lock your doors and windows.
- Don't leave unlocked cars in the driveway.
- Activate security cameras and alarm systems when appropriated.
Suspicious Activity
- Homeowners should not open their doors to anyone who they are not expecting.
- Homeowners can contact the Oakbrook Police by dialing 911 at any time to report suspicious activity including a person coming to your door or parked in your community.
Drive Carefully
- The Speed Limit within Trinity Lakes is 25 mph.
- With no sidewalks within the development, speeding motorists pose a serious threat to children who are riding their bikes or playing outdoors or even walkers.
Observe the Yield Sign
- Please observe the entrance yield sign - watch out for cars, pedestrians, and bicyclists.
Contractor Working Hours- (Contractors are allowed to work weekdays from 7am-dusk and Saturdays from 8am-2pm.).
- NO contractors are allowed to work on Sundays. - This includes but are not limited to, general construction activities and lawn maintenance.
- Services such as snow plowing, snow removal, emergency repairs to your home (are excluded)
- Contractor trucks, trailers and all other equipment or materials must be removed from streets each evening.
Garbage
- Garbage containers, recycle bins and/or seasonal tree and bush trimmings should be placed outside for collection NO earlier than 6pm the night before collection day.
- Empty containers are to be removed from the curb by the end of the collection day.
- Garbage containers should be stored, out of sight, inside the garage.
Unsightly and Unkempt Property
- It is the responsibility of each homeowner to take care of their property to prevent it from becoming unsightly and unkempt.
- Our homes are starting to age - don’t neglect them. Keep your home looking good - no peeling paint, window dressings need to look good - no taped paper/torn paper etc. should be in view of street.
Lawns Maintenance
- Lawns must be regularly(weekly) maintained and must be reasonably free of weeds.
- Trees and bushes must be trimmed of dead branches.
- Property must be regularly cleared of trash and debris.
Basketball hoops
- Basketball hoops may be portable basketball or permanently installed pole standards.
- Standards must be properly maintained with no visible rust, and no missing or torn nets.
- Portable standards must be upright at all times.
- Portable standards should be properly weighted according to manufacturer’s guidelines (the use of sandbags or other materials piled on the base is not permitted).
Driveways
- Please take note and check condition of your driveways.
- Blacktop driveways - may be in need of crack & re-seal repair.
- Concrete driveways - may be in need of crack repair
- Brick/concrete paver driveways - basic weeding needs to take place between pavers each season.
Mailboxes
- All mailboxes should be safe, upright, & clean.
- Any masonry mailbox needs to be safe and if it has cracks, it must be tuck pointed, cracks sealed etc.
- Plastic mailboxes - are not permitted in Trinity Lakes - for those of you who have them - when your mailbox needs replacing you will need to follow the rules and regulations when replacing your mailbox.
